The Lifestyle Support Officer (Disability Support) will work as part of a small team providing care and support to a single person with disability. The role is crucial in providing direct care, guidance, and assistance to enhance the quality of life and independence of the individual. The role requires compassion, empathy, and a commitment to personalised care to meet the unique needs and preferences of the individual.
We are looking for people who are:
- open-minded and respectful
- willing to learn and grow
- cool under pressure (loud and unpredictable doesn’t faze you)
- up for a laugh and getting out and about
- leave entitlements and penalty rates as per the SCHADS award
- reimbursement for expenses, including use of personal vehicle
- ongoing training and support within a small team (includes regular direct contact with allied health and other professionals)
